I finally finished my summersville quilt. It is batted with wool (Quilter's Dream), and I quilted it very lightly to retain the lovely softness and loft that wool batting gives it. You can see the puffiness best in this photo, though the colors are washed out by the sun.
The wool batting is super soft and snuggly, and the quilt is ultra light.
This quilt measures 42 x 36. Fabric is summersville, of course, with various kona solids and lecien stripe for the binding.

Love it! I need to try wool batting...looks like a great loft!
So pretty!!! I LOVE wool batting, it's so nice to quilt with and super snuggly when it's done;-)
I love this! The fabric is so modern, and yet the finished quilt is so consistent with your Amish-quilt-inspired aesthetic. I mean, I know that traditional Amish quilts are a big source of inspiration for a lot of modern quilters, but still, I wouldn't have expected this to work so well--it's a real tribute to your design sense!
I really like this one! For one thing, I love text in art, any art, and it's got just the right amount of color etc. And the trim is jazzy
