busy busy busy

I haven't blogged in months, because I've been busy with this little guy, born November 15.  He's the recipient of this quilt, and this one, and a few other things I have yet to blog.

And all the spare minutes I've had has been devoted to making, not blogging.

Before he was born, I made this jacket using this pattern on Purl Bee.

I used the (free) pattern, but altered the construction to make it reversible.  The exterior is Nani Iro double gauze, and the interior is Timeless Treasures crosshatch sketch flannel.

And I added some orange binding (Timeless Treasures Crosshatch Sketch) on the edges for a little pop.

This is way too big now; hopefully it will fit in the spring - I need the time to find the perfect button anyway.

I don't blame you for not getting much blogging done! Wee babes are only so wee for so long - my nephew will be 2 on Saturday and I can't believe how fast the time goes….

He's so gorgeous!! The jacket is darling, too.

He is so cute! Love the jacket. I remember you cutting this one during one of our BMQG meeting. It turned out wonderful.

In another couple of months you can sneak in some sewing during his nap time ;).
Enjoy the precious time!
